Terms & Conditions

A non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure your booking date. This retainer is applied toward your total session fee.

The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to your session date. For weddings, the balance is due 14 days prior to the wedding date.

Payment may be made by bank transfer or other agreed method. Your booking is not confirmed until the retainer has been received and a booking confirmation issued.

Prices are subject to change. The price quoted at the time of booking will be honoured for that booking.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the session date will forfeit the retainer only. No further amount will be charged.

Cancellations made within 30 days of the session date will forfeit the retainer and may incur an additional cancellation fee of up to 50% of the remaining balance, at our discretion.

Wedding cancellations made within 60 days of the wedding date will forfeit the full retainer. Cancellations within 14 days may incur the full session fee.

Rescheduling requests are accommodated where possible, subject to availability. One complimentary reschedule is permitted with more than 14 days' notice. Subsequent reschedules or short-notice changes may incur a rescheduling fee.

In the unlikely event that MiniBou Fotografia must cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, a full refund of all payments will be issued, or an alternative date offered at your preference.

Please arrive on time for your session. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session with no reduction in fee.

MiniBou Fotografia will make every effort to capture the agreed shots and moments. However, we cannot guarantee specific images due to factors outside our control, including weather, lighting conditions, and the cooperation of subjects.

For sessions involving children or newborns, we will work at a pace that is comfortable and safe for the child. Session duration may be adjusted accordingly.

The client is responsible for ensuring all persons to be photographed are aware of and consent to being photographed.

Edited images will be delivered via an online gallery within the timeframe specified in your booking confirmation. Standard turnaround is 4–6 weeks for weddings and 2–3 weeks for all other sessions.

The number of images delivered will be consistent with the scope of your session. We do not guarantee a specific number of images.

Images are edited in the MiniBou Fotografia style. Requests for alternative editing styles, heavy retouching, or significant alterations are not included and may be quoted separately.

Online galleries are available for download for 30 days from delivery. It is the client's responsibility to download and back up their images within this period.

Raw (unedited) files are not provided under any circumstances.

MiniBou Fotografia retains full copyright of all images produced. This copyright is not transferred to the client upon delivery.

Clients are granted a personal, non-commercial licence to use their images for personal purposes, including printing, sharing on personal social media, and gifting.

Commercial use of images — including use in advertising, editorial publications, or business promotion — requires prior written consent and may be subject to additional licensing fees.

Clients must not alter, filter, or apply third-party editing to delivered images in a way that misrepresents the MiniBou Fotografia style. Basic cropping for personal use is permitted.

MiniBou Fotografia reserves the right to use images from any session for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes, unless the client has requested otherwise in writing prior to the session.

Clients who prefer their images not be used for marketing purposes must notify us in writing before the session date. This preference will be respected and will not affect the quality of service provided.

Where images are shared publicly by MiniBou Fotografia, we will not tag clients without their consent.

MiniBou Fotografia carries professional indemnity and public liability insurance. However, our liability is limited to the total fee paid for the session.

In the event of equipment failure, data loss, or other technical failure beyond our control, our liability is limited to a refund of fees paid. We will make every reasonable effort to recover or recreate images where possible.

MiniBou Fotografia is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the provision of services.

Clients participate in outdoor sessions at their own risk. MiniBou Fotografia is not responsible for injuries sustained during a session.

Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for the purpose of providing photography services and communicating with clients.

We do not share client information with third parties except where required by law.

Client images stored in our systems are retained for a period of 12 months following delivery, after which they may be deleted. Clients are encouraged to download and back up their images promptly.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between MiniBou Fotografia and the client, and supersede any prior discussions or representations.

MiniBou Fotografia reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The terms in effect at the time of booking will apply to that booking.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
